Cadillac announced the debut of the upcoming CELESTIQ full-electric flagship by General Motors (GM) CEO Mary Barra’s keynote address at CES. CELESTIQ is scheduled to go on sale in 2023, Automotive News noted.
The full-glass roof of CELESTIQ is supposed to be one of the first to have smart four-quadrant, suspended-particle (SPD) windows. Each vehicle passenger can set its degree of roof clarity with this smart glass. The driver and front-seat passenger will experience the comfort of a pillar-to-pillar freeform display with active privacy to keep them distracted. At the same time, the rear seats will enjoy personalized entertainment screens. There will be separate console screens for individualized comfort settings and entertainment displays between the front and rear seats.
