In his new role, Mr. Grossi will harness his extensive experience to lead Barfresh Food’s sales efforts and oversee the company’s expanding sales network. Mr. Grossi’s distinguished career includes executive positions at Performance Foodservice Group, SK Food Group Inc., and notably, BakeMark.

At BakeMark, he served as Vice President of Sales and Merchandising, where he managed global sales and marketing initiatives across 38 branches in North America. His tenure at BakeMark was marked by rapid client base expansion, significant revenue growth, and record EBITDA figures.

Expansion Into Educational Institutions

In addition to this strategic appointment, Barfresh Food Group has secured several new customers within the education sector. The company recently acquired 542 new school locations across various states, serving a combined population of over 390,000 students.

These schools will offer a range of Barfresh Food’s products, including Twist & Go cartons, bottled smoothies, 5:1 100% juice concentrates, and 1:1 bulk easy pour concentrates, starting from the 2024-2025 school year.

Over the past month, Barfresh Food has announced partnerships with more than 3,100 new school locations, reaching over 2.2 million students. These partnerships will see the company’s products featured on breakfast and a la carte menus.

With numerous bids currently underway in the education channel, Barfresh Food anticipates further significant customer acquisitions before the commencement of the 2024-2025 school year.
