Market Response Strong As VirTra (VTSI) Unveils Cutting-Edge Training Solution

During the current trading session, the shares of VirTra, Inc. (NASDAQ: VTSI) are witnessing a noteworthy upsurge, reflecting an impressive uptick of 12.23% to $14.81 as of the last check. This positive movement in the value of VTSI stock is directly correlated with the launch of a new training solution.

With dates set for April 29 to May 1, 2024, in Orlando, VirTra (VTSI) has announced that it would be attending the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Conference and Exhibition. As a first-time exhibitor, VirTra plans to present its cutting-edge V-XR headset training system at the conference, highlighting its sophisticated features and capacity to meet a variety of training requirements, especially in healthcare settings.

The IAHSS Annual Conference and Exhibition serve as a pivotal gathering for top-tier security, safety, and emergency management leaders in the healthcare sector to engage in networking, interact with vendors, and explore solutions for their respective challenges. This year, VirTra joins the exhibition to demonstrate the efficacy of its new V-XR training solution, which comprises a compact, lightweight headset simulator specifically designed for de-escalation scenarios.

The headset incorporates hyper-realistic characters generated through volumetric video capture technology and pass-through mechanisms to mitigate motion sickness for users. VirTra’s recent foray into the healthcare market commenced last month with its collaboration with Ascension St. John Hospital (“Ascension”) to provide advanced training simulators to its workforce.

The utilization of VirTra’s V-180 simulator was made possible through grant funds allocated to Ascension. The V-180 simulator empowers users to engage in regular training exercises simulating their workplace environment, thereby serving as a valuable asset for all security personnel to uphold patient and staff safety.

As VirTra expands its presence in healthcare security, several other healthcare institutions have already embraced its technologies. Entities such as Ohio Healthcare PD, TriHealth Cincinnati, Marion Hospital in Indiana, Indiana University Hospital, Health First Security in Florida, and multiple VA locations have initiated training programs for their teams utilizing VirTra simulators.
