Two patients on placebo and four on ampreloxetine experienced serious adverse effects, none of which were thought to be related to the trial medicine; no deaths were reported. Study 0169 (NCT03750552) was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study in individuals with symptomatic nOH (n=195). Patients from Research 0169 were eligible to enroll in Study 0170, a 22-week, multi-center, randomized withdrawal study to see if ampreloxetine provided a sustained benefit in efficacy and safety in patients with symptomatic nOH.
