Depending on their large IP and patent portfolio, AST SpaceMobile is creating the first and only worldwide broadband cellular network in space that can function directly with regular, unmodified mobile devices. AST SpaceMobile has opened a new office in the United Kingdom. The offices are in the new Space Park Leicester complex in Leicester, England, which is a £100 million research, innovation, and manufacturing center for space-related high-tech firms and researchers.
Additionally, ASTS has operations in College Park, Maryland, Spain, and Israel, and also a corporate headquarters and an 85,000-square-foot satellite assembly, integration, and research center in Midland, Texas.
