Yesterday, Tautachrome released in its patent attorney opinion whether or not its KlickZie patents would already be applicable to the NFTs that are setting the world on fire.

These NFT tokens represent different digital assets which are trade able on a blockchain. Essentially, NFTs are a new fad in the digital imagery marketing world. An NFT sold by Christies of London earlier this month for more than 69 million dollars represented a digital collage of images created by artist Mike Winkleman.

  • The three patents each cover the concept of capturing, storing, and verifying an image’s authenticity and uniqueness after it has been captured.
  • At the time the authentication/validation patents were filed, the term NFT had not been coined.
  • Nevertheless, the Tautachrome (TTCM) patents relate to steps that are indispensable to the generation of an authenticable token, which is used to verify an uploaded image.
  • The same token by TTCM can be used in a blockchain, which are known as NFTs.
