On December 30, 2020, Corporate Universe, which has previously announced a Letter of Intent to acquire Carbon Ion, revealed several developments. Although the parties had initially agreed on a close date before the end of the year, the holiday season and complexity of the transaction have caused the timeline to slip.
Having retained a prominent New York-based Law Firm, Carbon Ion will be working with them towards a prompt closing. Besides providing securities advice, they also provide comprehensive representation in intellectual property and contract law, which will be advantageous to the company going forward.
As a point of clarification, our prior release stated the company name to be Carbon-Ion Energy Storage Ltd, precisely Solutions for Startup Ventures Ltd, which is a party to this transaction. The assets, once consolidated, will be held by Carbon-Ion Energy, Inc.
