(NASDAQ: OCGN), shares jumped 16.96% to $0.34 in the premarket session after, a biopharmaceutical firm focusing on the exploration, development, and commercialization of innovative therapies for the treatment of blindness diseases, recently confirmed that it would delay its 2020 Annual Meeting of Stockholders to December 23, 2020, to allow more time for its stockholders to vote on the resolutions proposed at the meeting for shareholder approval.
The record date for the registered voting stockholders’ decision at the annual meeting will remain at the close of business on 28 October 2020. For the rescheduled annual general meeting set for Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 11 a.m., stockholders who have previously sent a proxy do not need to vote again. Eastern time, as the proxies submitted, will remain valid.
