Health Catalyst, Inc today promoted current Chief Financial Officer Patrick Nelli to the president, effective January 1, 2021. Nelli joined Health Catalyst in 2013 and he built the company’s internal analytics group and benchmarking product line, named Touchstone. He has been working as a chief financial officer since 2017. He played a major role in the IPO in July 2019. He graduated from Wake Forest University and hold a degree in Physics with a concentration in Biophysics and Biochemistry. He will be responsible for all the major growth functions of the company.
Health Catalyst Chief Executive Officer Dan Burton praised the decision and acknowledged Patrick’s character and leadership capability. He said that he has tremendous respect for Patrick’s intellectual capacity, strategic prowess, and his boundless energy. Hunt was working as an investment banker with Deloitte Corporate Finance and with Moelis & Company before joining the Health Catalyst. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hunt graduated cum laude, from Brigham Young University
There are two other promotions announced effective January 1, 2021. Jason Alger has been appointed as Chief Accounting Officer and Adam Brown Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis replacing Hunt. Alger has been working with the Health Catalyst for 8 years and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. Brown has Finance degree from Penn State University and he is with Health Catalyst for 5 years.
