Suffolk County Community College has granted a testing deal to Applied DNA Clinical Labs, LLC (ADCL) which is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Applied DNA Sciences. In preparation for the College’s reopening in the autumn, the contract was established to track the incidence of COVID-19 among its unvaccinated employees and professors. The testing will start in the second half of September 2021. The College, which is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, follows SUNY’s vaccine policy, which mandates that all on-campus students be completely vaccinated against COVID-19 by September 27, 2021.

The Contract’s initial duration is one year, with two one-year renewal options available at the College’s discretion. The Contract specifies a fixed monthly cost for sample collection site facilities and a separate fixed fee per each COVID-19 test, but no baseline testing criteria.
